GF wants an X box for Christmas.
    I have an "S" 500GB model ordered.
This is a gift for her, as I have little interest in gaming.

    She wants a driving game.
    I'm looking at this game.
    Amazon.com: Forza Horizon 3 - Xbox One/Windows 10 Digital Code: Video Games

What is the best way to buy games?
    DL or disk?
It looks like the DL version works on W10 too?
Is 500GB enough storage for downloading games?

Do I need to buy the steering wheel thing too?

    Thanks for any advice.

(I had a 360 box before, but it was mostly used as a DVD player, lol.)

the disc is in stock $37, ship to nome $9.98... get a big box, fill with scrap paper/foam peanuts, write on a card "game disc is enroute, merry xmas", place inside box, wrap, place under tree:D

Yep, just got the game system yesterday, Jan 3.:p
    Oh well.

    Already killing my data limits.
The box "required" a 1.29GB update.
    Game "required" a 7.4GB update.
Hopefully, the game will continue to play "offline",
and not need another "required" update in the future,
if I have to go on line again, (to update a different game).

No idea how they get 45GB on a single disk.

But the game is pretty cool.
About as close to a real driving simulator as it can get.
Graphics are pretty good, but combined with the game design and the steering wheel,
    it's almost like really driving.

Don't think the steering wheel will last long though.
It's well built, but the gf keeps ripping it off the desk
    every time she crashes.
(And almost falls out of the chair).
    Pretty funny to watch.

I got to try it out for about 3 minutes before I was kicked off.
    Lol

I wish they would make more Half-life games.

I wish I had the attention span for games.

Kids have an xbox one, Wii and I have a steam library that would make just about any kid jealous and I dont think I've played more than 3 games. Only game I have ever finished was the first Harry Potter and Titan Quest Immortal Throne.

I have played Sins of the Solar Empire for rather lengthy periods of time...

I dont think I've played a game in over 3 years.

I just finished playing Fallout 4 for far more hours that I ever expected to. What an addicting game that was.

I have 580 hours on that myself. Going to have to get the Lost Coast add on as I am not finding many new locals anymore. Do you know if your accrued level carries over? I am up to level 115. I don't even bother with power armor any more unless I am going to wander around in the impact zone. Speaking of which is there a way to sell those things, I have several collections of them just standing around not that I need the caps now either but it would have helped earlier on.

I had blown away 98% of the things that were trying to kill me. It got boring carrying around one hell of a modded, fully auto, stabilized, scoped gun and having almost nothing creepy and deadly to kill. Even running my character around in her panties got old too. :) (There are advantages to creating a female persona.) Things got too quiet for my tastes. I had done most of the quests as well. I got to about level 60.

I feel you bro. :D I own all the First rate titles on XB and on PS and yet, I haven't even ended Black Flag or Tomb Raider Definitive Ed. I spend whatever time I have playing Destiny and Overwatch and barely get time for others. Battlefield and Titanfall2 are in my priority list but i end up playing Destiny instead. :D Been a while since I ended anything :(
