I've been owned by cats for years and they are obviously liquids.

Liquid fits. Solid, gas, or plasma does not.

Uncontained they should flow to the lowest level but this one attempting to lay on my hands as I am typing isn't staying at a lower level no matter how many times I put him on the floor.

Actually, I think I have cats figured out. Cats are known to be liquids as their bodies conform to the shape of the container that they climb into. Also, based on the attached photo, cats are just aliens inside of a cat suit. Kif Kroker on Futurama is an alien from planеt Amphibios 9 and he does not have a skeletal system, rather he is supported by a system of fluid filled bladders. As such, cats are just aliens from the planet Amphibios 9 wearing a cat suit.

No, there's a guy on the Helifreak web forum that talks in weird riddles that has overtaken Kathaksung. But hey, you have to admit, it's a pretty reasonable theory.

With cats, any theory is credible.
