    Hey folks,

So I am in the process of wanting to setup an android box using an old PC. The PC I have is an HP 6005. Each time I try and download an iso or img file, the USB stick isn't recognized by the PC. I tried 2 different types of USB sticks. The HP sees the USB in the bios but it won't pick it up as a boot device although it sees it as one.

Please help as I am trying to cut the cable cord :)

Have you tried burning the iso to a DVD and booting with it? Are you sure the iso is bootable?

I didn't think to burn it to a DVD but will give that a try. I used rufus to create a bootable flash drive. It has worked on previous burns.

Sorry it took me awhile, but burning an ISO to DVD didn't work either. Do you know of a reliable ISO that I can re download and burn? Could it be I am using an HP 6005 PC? Please advise!

Finally got Android on a PC. Problem that I have now is that it only allows me 2Gb. I have tried taking a premade (because I don't know how to do it) data.img file that is increased to 16Gb. The OS itself works but Downloads are always pending and not downloading and installing like they did before with just the 2Gb. Any ideas?
