ok first off i want to say im a noob to all forums.. and please excuse my english.. :)

ok i have a HP slimline s3700y desktop computer i love it to death.. the looks of the case and how small the case is.. but im looking for a graphics card that i can run the sims 2 and the sims 3 on, on max settings. So i think i have found a graphics card that will do just that but im not sure.. here is the link..

now my question is what would happen if i do not change my 160watt PSU on my desktop?
Will it fry my psu and mobo or just crash my computer? I have also read the reveiws on the card with people say they have run the card on a slimline but i would like to know what bad things could happen..

If your PSU is too small/too weak after adding the card - the pc won't boot up.

Are you certain your pc has a spare PCIe slot?

yea my computer has a extra PCI slot

  4. That 160w ps isn't gonna cut the mustard for that vid card, its minimum requirement is 400w. I thought I heard somewhere that the 8400 series has some issues but I could be wrong. I don't think your computer would even boot up but should your ps blow, you never can tell what other components it will also destroy.
