    Hi,

Willing to buy wireless keyboard and mouse, but I see there are different types of them (Bluetooth, IR or RF). Maybe someone could explain to me what are the differences and which one would be the best for playing games 10-15' distane from the PC.

    Thank you.:)

I prefer Bluetooth because of the fact that Bluetooth is a standard and one mfr's BT product will work with another mfr's BT product. With RF, that may not be so because there is no standard so it's a crapshoot whether one will work with another.

Bluetooth also has more capabilities such as the ability to connect speakers, headphones, do file transfers, etc...

I would stay away from IR (infrared) which relies on direct line of sight for it to work.

I've used RF and bluetooth and both work exceptionally well. The only thing to consider is that typically with RF the receiver is supplied, but with bluetooth, you must have a dongle or built in bluetooth.

I see, so then BT is the best option, but what is that about (They can only be used with computers that come Bluetooth enabled). What do I need to do to enable BT on my computer or to buy?

    One more question.
If the BT wireless keyboard comes with touchpad, is it possible to use wireless mouse with it in the same time along with the touchpad on the keyboard.
BTW, any recommendations on the wireless mouse?

    Thanks again guys.

Yes, just like a touchpad on a laptop will work in addition to a mouse.
