Why Does this board require DDR2 533?

I'm thinking about buying this board for my build:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813121230

Thats to go with this Intel Pentium 4 630:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116198

My question is this:
Why does this board require DDR2 533 when the bus is 800mhz?

Oh and if anyone has a better board that they'd reccomend for this cpu please step up and share.

Frankly, I'm not entirely sure why that board requires DDR2-533 - most i915p chipset motherboards use DDR (168 pin) exclusively. I recommend the Asus P5GD1 - it's an excellent board and takes on normal DDR400.

DDR2-533 is the standard for an Intel P4 800Mhz Front Side Bus CPU using the DDR2 slots.

The specs say:
FSB-> 800/533MHz
Number of DDR2 Slots-> 4x 240pin DDR2
DDR2 Standard-> DDR2 533

Do they make DDR2 800?

I'm sure it would be able to accept DDR2 400 too. You would only need DDR2 533 if you had a 1066MHz FSB processor, in which case you would use it in a dual channel configuration.
