KillerFlash....a classic asteroid type of game

Well, I was let go last February from a job that I held for 19 years and decided to get my degree in Computer Graphics. This fall I took a flash class that is part of my requirement and for my final project I decided to do a little game to show that I know Flash. I've been posting my game on my own website http://www.pepster.com to show the progress to people on Facebook and then it dawn on me why not post it on pcmech.com. I'm not trying to toot my own horn just want to show how far I have come along and if anyone can make a suggest to make the game better feel free to reply to this thread. I know this is a computer hardware forum, but I still enjoy the computer hardware aspect although it isn't something that I want to get into unless it's my last recourse. I think everyone should know how a computer is put together that way they can concentrate using that computer as a tool and not have to worry about it breaking down. An if it should break down you know how to fix it and that it will be no problem get back it up and running for you have made backups.....right?

One thing I noticed: when your "pencil" gets killed and disappears, you can still fire bullets.

WOW! That game is awesome Strider.

Seriously, well done learning Flash - I wish I had the patience and inclination to learn new things.

I finally squashed the bug on the pencil being able to fire after you get hit by a book (now you should be able to repeatedly shoot after the pencils gets hit), gee it took me two weeks to solve the problem. However, it did help that I have other homework besides that class, so maybe the break in between cleared my head.
