computer that holds raid0 array doesnt post - how to backup data?

Hi All

in a bit of a pickle... i have an asus a8n-sli motherbaord with 2 sata drives in raid0. the computer just decided not to post anymore, and now i am worried about the data on the drives. is there anyway i can backup my data on these drives?

I have tried another cpu and removed nearly all the hardware... it doesnt want to power up sometimes or sometimes it powers but i dont hear the post beep.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes, but it's going to cost you 99 bucks and access to another computer.

Have you tried a different power supply?

you know, i thought it was the psu, and thats the first thing im going to try tommorrow (gotta pick one up from the store).

i looked at that app, and used a sata - usb adaptor but it didnt like the drives... do i have to have both drives mounted at the same time for that raid recovery software to work?

They both have to be mounted, and they might have to be installed internally.

Be careful when you go to the store, don't buy a junk brand power supply unless you have unrestricted return privileges.
