Can't enable USB Printing Support on my Dell Mini 910

In the Device Manager under Universal Serial Bus there is supposed to be a settiing so I can enable USB Printing Support. I don't have this setting in my device manager and this could be the reason I am not able to access my printers. The HP says "document failed to print," The Lexmark says "Unable to communicate with the printer." Dell technical support wants $70+ to fix the problem.

Control Panel->PRINTERS - are both printers listed there cause you installed the drivers?

yes, I installed both printers myself. Even though so much time has passed since I asked this question and I have been talking with Lexmark, HP and Dell, they still all blame it on each other and want me to pay $75+ to fix it.
