Looking for blue backlit keyboard choices + gaming mouse

Hi everyone.

I've come here in search of a new keyboard and mouse. I can't seem to find a good selection of blue backlit keyboards on the market. I've seen the Logitech G11 and the Eclipse keyboard from Saitek but are there other "whiz-bang" keyboards with blue backlit LED's that I should consider?

Also, what's a REALLY economical gaming mouse? I really need to stop using this 400 DPI piece of junk optical mouse.

Thanks!

I bought a Saitek Eclipse II keyboard recently...that was one of the few keyboards I came across that actually lit up the letters. Other brands just did the back-lighting and that was it. I can say I'm quite content with it.

As for a gaming mouse, I ended up going with this:

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mo...s.aspx?pid=041

My main criteria were: inexpensive and a thumb button. That ended up being around $25.

If you're looking for a wireless gaming mouse, you may have to look in the $80 range.

I've used mostly Razer, Logitech and Microsoft (specifically Microsoft Reclusa: http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/ga...s.aspx?pid=093) keyboard with backlit keys, not too sure about Saitek (although I do have a $30 Saitek gaming mouse that works pretty well for me).

I have a few friends using the Microsoft mouse linked to above and it works pretty well; I have a Microsoft laser mouse 6000 I picked up for $25 which has the same formfactor but better performance (due to the laser): http://www.thetechlounge.com/article...er+Mouse+6000/

I bought a Saitek. It's okay but some keys I have to push down on extra hard for the input to register. Maybe I'm just sloppy and too many food crumbs have found there way into my keyboard. It's kinda annoying.

I will never again buy any Logitech products. Every single Logitech item I've bought was flawed and stopped working properly within a year of having bought it.

I have this keyboad and love it

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16823126043

It's not blue but it lights up very nice, kinda like a large laptop keyboard feel to it. Works great for me.

Can't say I've had the same problem...

Try shaking it out and taking an air can to it.
